Privacy, in plain language.
This Privacy Policy describes how Decision Owl handles personal information in connection with its marketing website, Founding Beta registration and dedicated web application.
Decision Owl is operated by Joseph Nico Cando in his individual capacity in the Philippines. Joseph Nico Cando is the individual operator of Decision Owl and the personal information controller responsible for determining how personal information is processed in connection with the service. Accounts and information we collect
Decision Owl operates through a dedicated web application. When you register for an account, the application uses Supabase authentication and collects information such as your name, email address and authentication credentials.
If you request Founding Beta access, the external registration form may collect the information you provide. This may include details relevant to your request, selected plan and payment verification.
How it is used
We use this information to respond to your request, verify payment, provide onboarding, communicate about Decision Owl and learn from beta feedback. We do not sell personal information.
Conversations and AI features
Decision Owl stores conversation titles, the prompts you submit and AI-generated responses so that you can access and manage your conversations.
When AI features are enabled, relevant conversation content is processed by an external AI service configured for Decision Owl so that it can generate a response.
Operational records
To operate, troubleshoot and apply usage limits to the service, Decision Owl records operational information such as AI request status, provider and model metadata, token usage, estimated processing cost, request latency and error categories. These operational records do not themselves contain the full text of your prompts or conversations.
Feedback
You may choose to submit ratings, comments and suggestions about Decision Owl. A conversation excerpt is attached to feedback only when you expressly select that option.
Website analytics and third-party services
The Decision Owl marketing website uses Google Analytics to understand website activity. Google Analytics may process technical information associated with website use, including information generated through page views and selected interactions with registration, preview and contact links.
Founding Beta registration uses an external Google Form. Google and other third-party services used for registration or payment may have their own terms and privacy practices. Please review those services before providing information to them.
Managing your information
You may request access to, correction of, or removal of personal information held by Decision Owl, subject to applicable requirements.
You can remove conversations from your active conversation list. Deleted conversations have a recovery window of up to 30 days, and you can permanently delete conversations through the application.
You may also submit a request to remove account data. Account-removal requests are currently handled manually.
Expiration of VIP access restricts access to applicable application features and entitled resources. It does not by itself establish automatic deletion of conversation records or feedback.
Security
Decision Owl uses authenticated access controls and database authorization rules intended to limit access to authorized users and administrators. No system can guarantee absolute security.
